Article About: Couples,

It can be really hard to find a perfect spot for couples to hangout in Kathmandu. As this problem is faced by many youths, this article will help people to find perfect dating spots in Kathmandu.

NOTE: You must be of age +18 and above to date legally in Nepal. If your age is under 18 and you’re found dating, police can take legal action and have full right to contact your parents. But if you’re 18 and above, you have full right to go out on a date wherever you want to.

Beginning of the Date (Before Relationship Starts)

If you really like someone and are trying to take them out on a date for the first time, you’ll have to keep the balance between a safe and not-too-crowded place. For two new people, a first date is all about conversation, getting to know each other, finding out interests and more. So you want to make sure the place isn’t that much crowded because a crowded place will bring noise and too many distractions which can affect the quality of conversation. And also you have to make the other person feel safe so don’t go too quiet places either. Unless you both are comfortable to be in such a place. This kind of place can be anywhere. It can be a local cafe near your college or house, different temples or monasteries or view peaks / towers. Or you can communicate with your partner about where or what kind of place they would like to go.

In a Relationship (The Starting)

This is one of the most beautiful stages of a relationship. Two different souls have decided to be together and start something new. In this time, you will want to have a private time where you can hold hands and be in eachothers arms and just talk and listen to each other. Looking into eachothers eyes and letting the eye talk for yourself and kissing in the forehead, no one can deny to love this feeling. For this stage of the relationship, you'll want to go to cafes with private cabins where you can shut the door or curtains and no one will disturb you unless you have ordered something. If you have ordered something, lookout for the waiter. Haha!

Intimacy (Emotional & Physical)

This stage is all about being private from the rest of the world and only between you and your partner (Girlfriend & Boyfriend). For this you would want to be in a closed room with your partner because this stage is all about sharing things with your partner in private either it is physical or mental. You can book different hotels and OYO rooms for your private time. Just make sure you carry your proof of being at the age of 18 or above (citizenship, licence or any legal government document) to verify your age if you get into any trouble..

You can use the OYO app or any other hotel booking app for this or you can just go to a hotel / guest house in the area you feel comfortable and book them on the spot.

NOTE: Just make sure you avoid the hotels in the bus park / bus stop areas.

Emotional

Everyone goes through this phase. Emotional support from the partner is one of the most important things in a relationship for all Girl, Boy & LGBTQ+. The thing about being a human is that we cannot control when our emotions will hit us. In the situation of being emotional, having someone to make you feel safe is really a big deal. And every person in a relationship will want such support from their partner no matter the gender.

Physical

In the case of physical intimacy, not everyone may feel the same. This stage includes kissing, cuddling and sex. Before getting down with your partner in this case, you will have to make sure that your partner is ready for such activities. Even though such cuddling and sex really feels good and give you the best feeling in the world for many people, it is totally normal if you don’t feel the same way about it.

And please know that if you’re not ready for it, you don't have to just because your girlfriend or boyfriend asked you to do it. Only engage in such activities if you’re truly comfortable.
